Combine 2 cups water with sugar and lavender leaves in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir until the sugar dissolves. Cover and allow to sit for at least a half hour.
2. Strain the lavender out of the syrup.
3. In a pitcher, mix 1 cup syrup with lemon juice and 2 cups water. Add ice, and add more water or syrup if desired. Garnish with a sprig of lavender and lemon wedge.
